Aberdeen will be without a host of star players, with Tommy Hoban and Shaleum Logan among their long-term absentees.

Bruce Anderson continues to suffer with a calf injury, while Gary Mackay-Steven, Andrew Considine and Francis Ross are also expected to miss out.

As for Rangers, they are without Eros Grezda and Jamie Murphy until at least the end of March, with Gareth McAuley and Matt Polster also unavailable.

But Graham Dorrans could make his return after resuming training.
