Prince George turns six TODAY – see his best pictures from the past 12 months

Prince George of Cambridge celebrates his sixth birthday today.

The eldest son of Kate Middleton and Prince William, with 37, will most likely have a birthday party at Kensington Palace to celebrate his special day with close friends and family.

George, who is third in line to the British throne, has been pictured a number of times over the past year at both traditional royal events to informal trips to the polo.

He also posed for a family portrait to mark the 70th birthday of his grandfather Prince Charles in November 2018 and had a starring role as a pageboy at the Windsor wedding of his father’s cousin, Princess Eugenie to Jack Brooksbank in October the same year.

Last month, His Royal Highness was photographed on the balcony at Buckingham Palace, watching the traditional flyby following the annual Trooping The Colour parade.

He was pictured with his well-dressed parents and younger siblings Princess Charlotte, four, and Prince Louis, one, and well as the Queen, 93, and his grandfather Prince Charles.

Earlier this month, Prince George was seen in a different light when he was pictured at Billingbear Polo Club watching his father and uncle – Prince Harry, 34 – take part in the King Power Royal Charity Polo Day.

George was pictured playing with his sister and climbing in the boot of the family car as well as hanging out with his cousin Archie – the newborn son Harry and Meghan Markle, 37.

Beautiful photographs also captured the siblings getting back to nature in their mother’s garden at the Chelsea Flower Show.
