My husband keeps ogling other women and it's making me feel insecure

DEAR DEIDRE: WHEN we are out together, my husband always looks at other women. I feel insecure when I’m with him if there are good-looking women around because I know he will look.

I take care of myself with make-up and getting my hair done, but he still does it.

I’m 49 and my husband is 51. I caught him looking at an attractive young mum in the supermarket last weekend.

He was even eyeing up women in a restaurant when we were supposed to be celebrating my birthday.

I feel as though I am no good and he wants to bed them rather than me.

He is knocking my confidence when I hardly have any to start with. He says he only wants me but I don’t believe him.

DEIDRE SAYS: He is saying one thing and acting another. Obviously he can’t look at his feet all the time you’re out but it’s not OK if he repeatedly stares at women wherever you go.

So don’t stew in silence. Tell him, “If you look at that woman one more time I’m going to leave.” If he does, do.

Tell him that ogling other women undermines your self-esteem and that you regularly need to hear how great he thinks you are.
