Police have released a CCTV image of a woman they want to speak to after a family walked out of an Alton Towers restaurant without paying the £105 bill.

The family is understood to have fled the Rollercoaster Restaurant in the Staffordshire Moorlands theme park on Saturday, October 31.

A woman in the group is believed to have put one of the restaurant’s electronic tablets in her bag.

She then fled with her family once they had finished their meal at the popular theme park.

Staffordshire Police attended the scene after the incident on Halloween. 

Investigating officers  later revealed that the total value of the food and drink came to £104.84.

The restaurant has since been shut due to the country-wide second lockdown which began on November 5. 

Rollercoaster Restaurant boasts rollercoaster-style tracks along the ceiling. Orders travel along the mini tracks before landing on the table.
