Woman charged with assault after ‘festive bust-up’ over GRAVY in Toby Carvery – The Sun

TWO women brawled at a Christmas party in a bust-up over gravy at a Toby Carvery.

The fight spilled out into the car park following the flare-up about queue-jumping.

The pair, in their 30s, had to be separated by their fellas as shocked office staff looked on.

But the women, believed to be from different Christmas parties, then carried on outside the restaurant in Caerphilly, South Wales.

A witness said: “It was all very festive and then it all got very heated as the pair were at the gravy station.

“It was about jumping the queue at the carvery. People had clearly had a drink or two.

“It was a proper shouting match. Their men took them away but then it all flared up again.

“The pair were ushered outside into the car park where there was lot of pushing and shoving.”

Police were called and arrested a 35-year-old local woman, who was charged with assault.

Restaurant owners Mitchells & Butlers declined to comment.
