UK Euromillions winner scoops £105 million jackpot as players are urged to check their tickets – The Sun

A UK ticket-holder has won the £105million EuroMillions jackpot, the National Lottery said.

Tonight's National Lottery EuroMillions winning numbers are: 08, 10, 15, 30 and 42.

The Lucky Star numbers were 04 and 06.

Someone also became a millionaire by matching the Millionaire Maker code ZMSF62402.

Andy Carter, senior winners’ advisor at The National Lottery, said: "On our 25th birthday, one very lucky ticket-holder has scooped tonight’s entire £105m EuroMillions jackpot.

"Players across the country are now urged to check their tickets to see if they have won big."

He added that tonight’s "big winner has scooped the sixth EuroMillions jackpot banked in the UK this year."

THUNDERBALL

Tonight's National Lottery Thunderball winning numbers are: 04, 11, 29, 34 and 35.

The Thunderball number is 02.

As the National Lottery celebrates its milestone quarter century, players continue to win big, adding to the 5,500 millionaires created since its launch.

The previous biggest UK winners were Colin and Chris Weir, from Largs in North Ayrshire, Scotland, who won £161 million in July 2011, reports the Press Association.

A £123 million jackpot was won by a UK ticket-holder in June and a UK winner scooped £38 million in the EuroMillions in April this year.

Ade Goodchild, from Hereford, bagged £71 million on March 15 and Patrick and Frances Connolly, from Northern Ireland, won £114.9 million on New Year's Day.

Carter said: "By buying a ticket for EuroMillions or any other National Lottery game, every player is helping to raise, on average, around £30M every week for projects across the UK, including funding everything from local community projects to supporting the nation’s athletes.”
