Klay Thompson, Draymond Green's wife chide Celtics fans for 'f*** you' chant 'with children in the crowd'
Klay Thompson and Draymond Green’s wife are not happy with Celtics fans.
The Golden State Warriors made their first road trip of the NBA Finals on Wednesday. It did not go well. Boston rolled to a 116-100 win to take a 2-1 series lead. And Celtics fans were — well, Celtics fans.
After testy Games 1 and 2 saw Warriors enforcer Draymond Green go full bully mode in San Francisco, Celtics fans greeted him as expected in Boston in Game 3. With a chorus of raucous boos during pregame introductions:

And a recurring chant throughout the game that we won’t publish video of here. But it went something like this: “F*** you, Draymond.”
Classy, clever stuff.
Klay responds to Draymond chant
After the game, Thompson was salty. The loss certainly wasn’t any fun. As for the Draymond chant? Well, what about the children?
“We’ve played in front of rude people before,” Thompson said. “Dropping F-bombs with children in the crowd. Really classy. Good job, Boston.”
Warriors coach Steve Kerr was also asked about the Draymond treatment. His answer was more succinct.
“Classy,” Kerr said. “Very classy.”

He’s not not the type to provide Boston fans with news-conference fodder. And he’s obviously not too worried about the children.

Green’s wife responds
Green’s wife, Hazel Renee, was not happy. She took Boston fans to task in an Instagram post late Wednesday for their “disgusting” behavior targeting her husband with their children in the crowd.

“Warriors fans would NEVER!!” Renee wrote while citing the NBA code of conduct for fans. “My kids were at the game tonight hearing that mess! Very DISGUSTING of you little Celtics fans Just shameful!”
