This is the hilarious moment a grandfather was given an unforgettable experience when he tried out a virtual reality rollercoaster ride.

The man, from Liverpool, tried out the VR headset on November 28, as the family watched in amusement.

In the footage, captured by grandson Oliver Kane Rice, the man can be seen struggling to balance, and has since went viral on social media.

He was held up by two other men as he braced himself for the lifelike experience of being on a roller coaster.

The room erupt in hysterics as the elderly man leans back into the others and opens his mouth in amazement at what he can see in the headset.

The man said: ‘Take it off, take it off’ while laughing as one of the men removed the headset.

However, he was in good spirits and laughing after he took the device off, having clearly enjoyed the simulated roller-coaster ride.

The footage, which has since gone viral on Twitter after it was viewed 46.5k times, has had social media users in hysterics.

One commented: ‘Made me laugh that.’

While another said: ‘Omg I’m in bits.’
