  • A woman has hit back at online trolls who slammed her wedding photo shoot
  • Tash Kingston wed her boyfriend of 6 years Cameron in Queensland in May
  • The 22-year-old dropped to her knees to simulate a sex act
  • However, online trolls branded the humorous photo shoot as ‘trashy’ and ‘tacky’

A bride has hit back at online trolls who branded her take on traditional wedding photos as ‘trashy’ after she and her groom posed in suggestive positions on their special day.

Tash Kingston wed her longtime beau Cameron in Queensland in May.

During their official wedding photo shoot, the bride dropped to her knees to simulate a sex act.

Mrs Kingston – who is expecting a baby in August with her new husband – said her bridal party had no idea about the surprise photo shoot they planned.

‘They were definitely amused and made it even more funny,’ she told Daily Mail Australia.

She said her bridal party burst into laughter after realising what was happening, which made for funny memories with her new in-laws.

Tash Kingston, 22, has hit back at online trolls who branded her inventive take on traditional wedding photos as ‘trashy’ after her and her groom posed in suggestive positions on their big day

Mrs Kingston wed her longtime beau Cameron, 25, in Queensland in May, and during their official wedding photo shoot she dropped to her knees to simulate a sex act

A few months after the nuptials, Mrs Kingston, 22, uploaded the cheeky photos to a private Facebook group, but people online didn’t respond with the same amusement.

‘I think it’s trashy as. Not how I would want to remember my wedding day,’ one woman wrote.

‘I’m just thinking about the kids going through the album and seeing it and going: ”Mummy, what are you doing to Daddy?”,’ another person criticised.

Mrs Kingston said she was shocked at the amount of disparaging comments she received from other women

Mrs Kingston said she was shocked at the amount of disparaging comments she received from other women.

‘Sure it’s not everyone’s cup of tea but this was our day and we did what we wanted to do,’ she said.

‘I never shared it on the page for ”feedback”. I shared it to give other couples and idea should it suit their sense of humour’.

Despite backlash from online trolls, a number of strangers jumped to the newlyweds’ defence – praising them for their lighthearted idea.

‘Some of you are so uptight and salty, it’s ridiculous. Not your cup of tea? Scroll on! How hard is it to not p*** on someone else’s parade?’ one person said.

Mrs Kingston said: ‘This photo was for us to look back on when we get old and have another laugh at ourselves,.

‘One couple showed their photo as roles reversed. Not something I would do but again, their day and they get to enjoy those photos to look back on,’ she said.

Some people even shared their own cheeky versions of nontraditional wedding photos that showed their groom’s underwear pulled down.

‘So everyone has their own levels of humour which I support. Not everyone has to be so serious.’

After sharing the inventive photos, Mrs Kingston said other couples used the idea for their own wedding photo shoots.

‘I do regret not adding to my original post to not comment if you don’t like it as I was not asked for feedback or opinions but just to share the idea,’ she said.

Mrs Kingston said the belittling comments she received is a result of women being too judgmental of other women.

‘I just kept saying each to their own. Someone said it’s as tacky as using fake flowers for their bouquet which I also did so, girls are too judgemental these days,’ she said.

The happy couple are unphased by the backlash and are expecting a baby in August – Tash was 30 weeks pregnant at their May wedding
