Katie Price's family Christmas with five kids in jeopardy after emergency trip to Turkey

KATIE Price's family Christmas is today in jeopardy after she had to take an emergency trip to Turkey.

The former glamour model, 42, is desperate to spend the holiday season with her five-children after they were all with their dads last year, apart from her eldest Harvey, 18.

But emergency dental work could see her festive plans out of the window.

Katie returns to the UK today after going to Turkey for dental treatment when two of her veneer teeth fell out.

She will pay for a private Covid test as soon as she lands back in the country.

But if she tests positive, Katie – who hasn't showed signs of any coronavirus symptoms on the trip – will be forced to spend a Christmas with just her boyfriend Carl Woods, who flew out with her.

Turkey is not on England's travel corridor list so must self-isolate at home for 14 days.

But she will only be able to have her children with her if results come back negative.

Katie's kids Junior, 15, and Princess, 13 – who she shares with Peter Andre – and Jett, seven, and Bunny, six, all spent last Christmas with their dads.

Her usual custody agreement with Peter is to have their two alternate Christmases with each of their parents.

Meanwhile, Katie revealed this week how she also wants to spend Christmas with her mum for what may be the "last time."

She sais her mother Amy, who suffers from idopathic pulmonary fibrosis, has "deteriorated" in recent months and so they are looking forward to "enjoying" the festive season.

"This year my mum deteriorated more so I just want to do really Christmas this year because I don't know how long she will be here," said Katie.

"There is nothing we can do about that, that is what I speak to a therapist about, what I am going to have to deal with."

Katie added: "I am not saying it will be her last Christmas but I really want to enjoy it. I am really looking forward to this Christmas.

"The last couple have been s***. We all sit in a circle and open our presents. We watch The Snowman, Home Alone, the same old stuff. I am looking forward to it."

Amy was diagnosed with idopathic pulmonary fibrosis in 2017.

The illness causes scarring to the lungs which reduces the sufferer's ability to breathe – there is currently no cure.

Amy bravely opened up about her diagnosis in 2017 and said she could only have two or three years to live.

On hearing the sad news Katie took to Twitter to pledge her support for the British Lung foundation – and ran the London Marathon in 2018 in aid of the charity.
