Jon Jones shows off new heavyweight frame as he targets huge UFC clash against champion Francis Ngannou
JON JONES looked in top shape as he worked out and wrestled in preparation for a potential UFC heavyweight championship fight.
A showdown with Francis Ngannou is on the American's mind while he thrashes out a pay battle with Dana White.
On Thursday, the 33-year-old posted a number of snaps from his gym.
He appeared well set for a step up to heavyweight and even took part in a drill for his 'first love' of wrestling.
Jones also credited powerlifter Stan Efferding with taking his training up a notch.
He wrote: "Stan Efferding came out of nowhere and set Team Jones on fire.
"I honestly feel like this was God‘s plan 🙌🏾. I’m so happy and totally committed. Feel like I’m becoming a better man."
Fans are eagerly awaiting news of Bones' bout with Ngannou.

The Cameroon-born fighter downed Stipe Miocic last month to lift the UFC heavyweight belt, an object which Jones is desperate to win having dominated the light heavy division.
A potential trilogy fight is on the cards as well as a rematch with Derrick Lewis.
UFC boss White is reportedly leaning towards the Lewis contest having so far failed to agree a deal to get Jones back in the octagon.
The 28-1-1 legend recently hit back at a £7.25million offer to fight Ngannou and claimed he was 'grossly underpaid' during his earlier career.
MMA coach Mike Winkeljohn has backed Jones in his bid to seal the contest for over £40m.
Having comfortably beaten Miocic for his fifth win in a row, Ngannou asserted that the New York brawler is the natural option for his next fight.
He declared: "I might be the champ but I don’t make the call. I’m just a fighter.
"So the UFC decides what really happens. But for what I want or what I like, yes, I would like that [fight with Jon Jones]."
