American tenants have driven demand for a luxury build-to-rent scheme on a terrace of townhouses in the leafy north London neighbourhood of St John’s.
Aston Chase have launched Blenheim Terrace, the first ultra-prime build-to-rent scheme in central London where £286k-a-year homes boast five bedroom suites and even a walk-in dressing room.
With design and specification by award winning London-Miami interior designer Natalie Miyar of Natalia Miyar Atelier, it offers three newly constructed townhouses with contemporary interiors, providing premium residences for affluent tenants.
Driving the boom are a rising number of American banks, financiers and other corporates who are enhancing their presence in London in anticipation of a Post-Brexit USA-UK trade deal.
As a result, they are renting and furnishing large houses and mansions in the tree-lined street which has been dubbed one of the city’s ‘most desirable destinations.’

‘We have seen a wave of US companies announcing office openings in London and American firms and expats asking about renting homes in London,’ said Ben Sloane, Lettings Director of Aston Chase.
‘As a result of all this activity, over the next two-three years we are likely to see a significant expansion in the number of luxury build to rent schemes launched in St John’s Wood and surrounding districts.’
Avenue Road boasts the same access to transport links and local amenities as other nearby streets, but has managed to escape the traffic congestion that makes some, such as Bishops Avenue and Winnington Road, less desirable.
