Fans love keeping up with anything and everything to do with the Kardashians. With the show’s season premiere right around the corner, people are turning to the entertainment media outlets and gossip channels to keep in the know.
At the end of the last season, Khloé Kardashian was seen sharing some quality time with baby True, but her motherly instincts were running on max when she had to leave her side for the first time. The blossoming mom is clearly pouring a lot of her energy and love into True, but what about her baby daddy, Tristan Thompson?

Kardashian and Thompson have what Hollywood likes to call a whirlwind romance. The two made headlines back in the summer of 2016 when they were seen leaving a popular nightclub one after the other. By September things were definitely heating up. They made their first official appearance as a couple at Flo Rida’s birthday party and went on to gush about their amazing connection. A few months after they started going steady Kardashian raised the stakes by introducing the NBA champ to her famous family in a March 2017 episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians. A move that really cemented their relationship.
Khloé gives birth among a scandal
Fast forward to that winter and all the talk about having a big family was finally realized! On December 20, 2017, Kardashian announced that she would be having a baby on her Instagram. Unfortunately, the excitement was short-lived, when the mother to be was nine months in news leaked of Thompson being extra friendly with other women; the last thing a mother about to pop wants to hear.
Khloé sticks with Tristan
Despite catching the love of her life cheating, Kardashian was determined to keep her family together. After all, the last thing she wanted to do was bring their new baby, True Thompson, up without a father. The reality star made a public statement on Twitter about her decision. Fans obviously rooted for Kardashian to break up with the serial cheater but after a month-long silence, she disappointed the masses.
Kardashian kept it classy in her comeback, “You have no knowledge of what goes on in our household or the enormous rebuilding this takes to even coexist,” showing it wasn’t easy getting past Thompson’s infidelity, especially so close to her birth. The two went out to a couple’s retreat, most likely an attempt to repair their broken relationship. Images that surfaced feature the two packing on the PDA. Things were looking up… until they weren’t.
Tristan continues to be unfaithful
As if getting caught once wasn’t enough, an eyewitness divulged that they had spotted Thompson turning up the charm in a Los Angeles nightclub. The accusations came in September 2018, less than a year after the initial scandal went public. Kardashian couldn’t believe her ears but still did her best to stay strong from their child.
Did Khloé and Tristan break up for good?
It seems like Thompson couldn’t leave his cheating ways behind and Kardashian, despite trying, couldn’t keep their relationship afloat. While she didn’t want to punish baby True by getting rid of her father, it looks like she ultimately believed it was the best choice.
