I spotted 5p hot water bottles at Wilko so cleared the shelf – but people say I should have left some for others | The Sun

A WOMAN who spotted 5p hot water bottles at Wilko cleared the shelf, and took to Facebook to boast about her bargain find.

Sarah posted a picture of her haul on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group, as she revealed the bottles had been marked up at £7 but scanned through at just 5p each.

She also nabbed a load of reduced Christmas bits, including gift bags, wrapping paper and baubles.

"All Xmas stock in wilkos 5p and 10p," she captioned her picture.

But the comments section was quickly filled with people insisting she should have left some stock for others.

"Did you leave anything?" one raged.

"I sure did as couldn't carry anymore," Sarah replied.

But others were more complimentary about Sarah's haul.

"Fab finds!" one wrote.

Amazing! I will have a look tomorrow," another added.

"Bargain!" a third praised.

And one woman issued a warning about the hot water bottles, reminding Sarah to check the symbol on the neck to make sure the rubber was still safe.

" I was about to say that," another wrote.

"Always good to know….As like everything else the rubber does perish over time."
