Jessica Mulroney Can't Wait for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's Anniversary in New Instagram

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, who will welcome their first child in the coming days, are about a month away from their first wedding anniversary on May 19, but the Duchess of Sussex’s close friend Jessica Mulroney is celebrating the occasion early.

The Canadian stylist shared a photo from the big day on Instagram on Sunday, showing her 8-year-old twin sons, Brian and John Mulroney, holding the train of Meghan’s veil as she walked into St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle.

“Almost a year ago … google reminded me,” Jessica captioned the shot on Instagram.

The boys, whose grandfather is the former Canadian Prime Minister Brian Mulroney, memorably carried Meghan’s lengthy veil (which extended long past her train) side-by-side, leading the rest of Meghan and Prince Harry‘s wedding party down the aisle. One of the twins showed off a memorable wide gap-toothed smile as he walked down the aisle.

The twins’ little sister Ivy, 5, also had a special role at the royal wedding. Ivy didn’t hold a bouquet during the procession – and when the children filed past Harry and Meghan at the altar, the bride passed her own bouquet to Ivy, who was holding hands with two fellow bridesmaids as she proceeded down the aisle.

In the official portraits of the newlyweds with their entire bridal party and family, Ivy and Florence van Cutsem, goddaughter of the groom, were spotted adorably sharing a floral arrangement.

Ivy’s father, Canadian television host Ben Mulroney, shared on Your Morning that Ivy made “very good friends” with the other bridesmaids.

“The kids had a chance to get to know each other a little bit at these rehearsals and some get-togethers as well,” he explained. “They sort of came together in a little bit of a ‘club’ before this happened.”

Jessica always has a few reminders of Meghan’s special day. When the Good Morning America  style correspondent showed off her Christmas decorations on an Instagram Story in December, royal fans spotted two framed photos from Meghan and Harry’s wedding on a shelf.

The first photo shows the Toronto-based stylist holding hands with Ivy as they made their way into St. George’s Chapel. They paused on the steps to take in the crowd, with Kate Middleton smiling as Princess Charlotte gives her royal wave behind them.

The second image shows the royal bride as she arrives at the chapel, with John and Brian carrying her train up the magnificent steps.

Jessica, whose friendship with Meghan goes back years, also played an important role in her friend’s nuptials.

“The children were officially her bridesmaids, but she [Meghan] made sure that Jessica was sitting in that first seat closest to where Harry and Meghan were standing,” Eva Hartling, vice president of Birks at the Birks Group, Meghan’s go-to jeweler, previously told PEOPLE. “It was clear that she kept a special place for her close friends — even though they weren’t standing at the altar with her, they were in close proximity and I thought that was a very nice touch. The seating arrangement at the ceremony spoke volumes.”
