I’m A Celebrity: Hunky sportsmen Ian Wright and James Haskell SCREAM with terror as they’re locked in a spider-infested jeep… as Caitlyn Jenner barely bats an eyelid

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! returned to screens on Sunday night, seeing half of the celebrities whisked off to camp in a luxury chopper while the rest were squashed into a muddy jeep and made to drive themselves.

But mud was the least of their worries when the celebs realised they were locked in with spiders – leaving the likes of hunky sportsmen Ian Wright and James Haskell screaming with terror.

EastEnders actress Jacqueline Jossa, 27, was the first to notice the creepy crawly, alerting the rest of the group – James, 34, Ian, 54, Andrew Maxwell, 44, Kate Garraway, 52, and Caitlyn Jenner, 70.

Get us out! Squashed into a muddy jeep he celebs realised they were locked in with spiders – leaving the likes of hunky sportsmen Ian Wright and James Haskell screaming with terror – on the opening episode of I’m A Celeb… on Sunday

But while everyone bolted from the car, Caitlyn was the only one to stay put – barely batting an eyelid.

6ft4 rugby star James screamed in horror as he spotted the massive spider on the windscreen, with ex-footballer Ian, who was behind the wheel, darting out of the vehicle, followed by Kate, Andrew and Jacqueline.

The celebrities were making their way back to the jungle camp after failing to win challenges in Sunday’s launch episode.

Ian struggled to show off much of his sporting prowess – looking unsteady during his challenge to walk along a 334ft-high plank and kick a button with his foot.

He was nearly knocked off altogether by a gust of wind, admitting afterwards: ‘That wind, man, the most frightening thing I’ve ever done in my life.’

And it was far from smooth sailing for James, who failed his challenge of canoeing as fast as possible to the ‘pontoon of doom’ with Caitlyn.

While the jeep crew were sent to Snake Rock to sleep on the jungle floor, the remaining celebs – Nadine Coyle, 34, Roman Kemp, 26, Myles Stephenson, 28, and Adele Roberts, 40 – were flown to main camp to settle in and enjoy their first meal of the series.

The celebrities will be cooking on gas stoves instead of open flames for the first time in the show’s history following a number of recent bush fires in Australia.

Meanwhile producers have also decided to take live bugs off the menu in Bushtucker Trials following pressure from animal rights groups.

‘Producers have decided no live critters would be eaten this year,’ a show source said.
