Felicity Huffman Is Finally Explaining Her Role in the College Admissions Scandal for the First Time

A month after being charged with conspiracy to commit mail and honest services fraud for scamming her daughter’s way into college, Desperate Housewives actress Felicity Huffman pleaded guilty, according to the Department of Justice.

According to initial reports, Felicity paid $15,000 to use a service that would help her eldest daughter get into college by faking SAT scores and lying about her athletic skills. Felicity had debated using the service again when it was time for her younger daughter to go to school but ultimately decided against it.

After pleading guilty on Monday, Felicity released a statement to People admitting to her involvement in the scam but denying her daughter had anything to do with it. The statement said:

At the time, it’s not clear if Felicity will go to jail or if Full House actress Lori Loughlin was 1 of the 14 people who pleaded guilty on Monday.
