Cardi B sued for $1 million by blogger over alleged death threats

Cardi B is now involved in another legal battle.

The “Money” rapper was hit with a $1 million suit by a blogger who alleged that she received death threats because of Cardi’s lies about her on social media, per court documents obtained by The Blast.

Cardi, 26, first sued the blogger, Latasha K, and another vlogger, Starmarie Ebony Jones, in March after they accused her of being a prostitute that has herpes, per TMZ.

Now, Latasha is claiming that Cardi reached out to her privately and asked her to take down the video that made those claims. Instead, Latasha wanted to do an interview with the rapper but she refused, alleging that then: “Cardi B began to publicly defame Ms. Kebe, referring to her as ‘this blogger lady, by stating that Ms. Kebe makes up fake stories; harasses all of Cardi B’s friends; constantly stalks Cardi B; falsely claims that she has legitimate sources giving her information about Cardi B; uses Cardi B’s name for ‘click bait’; and many other false accusations.”

Latasha also claimed that she received “gang-related threats” and death threats over the ordeal, forcing her to move. She also said that she is pregnant and is suffering severe emotional distress, anxiety, panic, stress, insomnia, humiliation, and depression from the matter.

Cardi is also in the middle of a case for allegedly fighting with two bartenders in a brawl at a Queens strip club last year. She rejected a plea deal in the case last month.
