David Beckham’s son Brooklyn Beckham, 20, regularly shares his photography work with his 11 million Instagram followers and is often complimented by his fans. But a source has claimed Brooklyn is being treated like a novice due to his alleged lack of knowledge in the field. The source went on to say to the photographer is making up for his lack of skills with his “enthusiasm”.

Another insider has said Brooklyn has needed help with basic tasks such as “lighting and setting up of the shots”.

However, a friend of David Beckham’s son has said the star has never claimed he is an expert at the role.

They told Express.co.uk: “He has never claimed to an expert, but he does have a passion for photography and is enjoying learning his craft from the true professionals he is interning with.”

A representative for Rankin and Brooklyn declined to comment.

Brooklyn has showcased his talents in various photoshoots since 2016.

At the age of 17, he took over photography duties for Burberry’s fragrance campaign.

A year later, the star released his photography book titled What I See.

The publication features shots of his family including an insight into their luxury holidays.

His most recent work includes shooting Notion Magazine’s front cover.

Brooklyn shared a picture of his work, which featured singer Ama Lou posing in front of an Idyllic garden.

In view of his social media fans, he commented: “Such a pleasure to shoot the @notion cover. And such a honour to shoot this talented young lady.. @amaloumusic.”

Last month, Brooklyn also photographed his girlfriend Hana Cross, 21, for the cover of Wonderland magazine.

In one snap, Hana is seen giving a seductive look to the camera while posing on a chair.

The model is seen sporting casual attire consisting of a white sleeveless shirt, tracksuit bottoms and trainers.

Brooklyn commented: “I was so pleased to be asked to shoot my beautiful girlfriend @hancross for the cover of @wonderland wearing the

#VVBPreAW19 collection.

“On stands later this month! Click the link in my bio.”

Amid the start of building up his portfolio, a source previously told the publication the star “feels lucky” to be given the opportunity to take his skills further.

They said: “People will think he’s only got the job because of his rich parents but he doesn’t take anything for granted. He knows he’s lucky.”
