Bradley Walsh: The Chase host drops bombshell about wife Donna in unearthed clip
Bradley Walsh, 58, has been married to choreographer and former dancer, Donna Derby, for 22 years. The Chase presenter dropped some rare details about his wife in an episode of the popular episode while he spoke to a contestant. During a round with the Chaser who offered a very tempting offer of £61,000, the comedian and host asked the contestant if he was a gambling man. Brian, the contestant, replied: “Not really no I’ve got strict instructions from the Mrs.”
Bradley probed: “What’s your wife’s name?”
To which the game show contestant said: “Donna.”
Bradley seemingly appeared to now have a mutual understanding with Brian as he admitted: “Same as me mate. They wear the trousers, don’t they?”
To which the Church leader nodded in agreement and said: “Indeed.”
The actor and presenter rarely gives details into his home life but has been spotted attending red carpet events alongside his wife.
The couple who tied the knot in 1997 share one son together, 22-year-old Barney Walsh.
Bradley also has a daughter, Hayley, from a previous relationship.
Meanwhile, pal Holly Willoughby shared a cheeky video clip alongside Donna last year which showed the pair dancing together.
At the time, in view of her 5.3 million followers, Holly captioned the post: “Me and the original #robertpalmer babe #Donna…who happens to be #bradleywalsh wife!!!”
Donna is a choreographer and a former dancer, and is well known for appearing in the music video for Simply Irresistible by Robert Palmer.
Fans flocked to comment on the post, as one person said: “Bradley you lucky man lol.”(sic)
Another person said: “Go ladies, great moves lol.”(sic)
While a third person quipped: “Well it’s no wonder he’s always happy. Stunner.”
Meanwhile the Hertfordshire born star became a professional footballer for Brentford at the age of 18.
His sporting career was cut short due to an ankle injury and went on to make his first appearance on screen in 1994 after he won a role as one of the presenting team on the National Lottery.
Since then, Bradley has starred on Coronation Street, Law & Order: UK and has hosted quiz show The Chase since 2009.
