Ariana Grande Called Lady Gaga a ‘Literal Angel’ in This Sweet Birthday Post

Lady Gaga, Queen of the Aries, turned 34 on Saturday. Right now, big birthday bashes are pretty much out of the question (unless you want to have an epic Zoom party). Ariana Grande might not be able to wish Gaga a happy birthday in person, but she gave her a sweet shoutout on Instagram that definitely put a smile on Mother Monster’s face.

“happy birthday to a literal angel that has changed my life in many ways!,” Grande wrote. “i’ll tell u more about it later but…u make my heart feel so full and happy and understood @ladygaga. wishing u all the joy in the world today and every day! have some pasta.”

Fans think that Gaga and Grande might have collaborated on some new music. In an interview for Paper earlier this month, Gaga told the magazine that she had collaborated with another female artist who had been through similar challenges.

The magazine wrote that Gaga had collaborated “with a fellow female pop star, who has similarly experienced immense trauma while in the public eye. Their song together is a monster of a dance tune, but its message is about submitting yourself to devastation (‘It’s coming down on me, water like misery’)—a flawless dance floor crier as a ‘celebration of all the tears,’ Gaga describes. ‘I sat with her and we talked about our lives. It’s two women having a conversation about how to keep going and how to be grateful for what you do.'”

Last week, Lady Gaga announced that she was postponing the release of her new album, Chromatica. She started off the post with well wishes for her fans. “First of all, I want to make sure everyone is staying safe and practicing social distancing. Please know that I’m thinking of you all,” she said. “I wanted to tell you, that after a lot of deliberation, I’ve made the incredibly tough decision to postpone the release of Chromatica. I will announce a new 2020 release date soon.”

In true Gaga form, she wrote that “art is one of the strongest things we have to provide joy and healing to each other in times like this.”

Happy birthday, Gaga.
