Apparently Lori Loughlin Claims She Didn’t Know the $500k She Paid Was for a College Admissions Scam

Get ready, guys. There’s an update in the college admissions bribery scandal that is truly LOL. Apparently, Lori Loughlin and her husband Mossimo Giannulli are reportedly planning to claim they didn’t know about the bribery scam as their main defense in the case.

According to TMZ, Lori and Mossimo say they didn’t know Rick Singer, the guy running the whole operation, was going to use the $500,000 they gave him to bribe a USC crew coach. So, if you’re wondering about those alleged staged pictures of Olivia Jade and Bella posing on rowing machines, apparently Lori and Mossimo knew about the pics but claim they didn’t know they were part of any scheme.

Apparently the reason Lori and Mossimo didn’t take the plea deal they were originally offered is because they felt their defense was solid.

On a more personal note, their daughter Olivia Jade is reportedly speaking to them again. For a while, she was reportedly shutting her parents out because she felt like they ruined her life, according to sources. Now, Olivia and her mom are “in communication.”

“Olivia was angry with her parents at first, but now realizes that they were just trying to do what’s best for her,” a source close to the family told Us Weekly. “Olivia loves her mom and dad very much, but is especially close with Lori.”
