Personal trainer tumbles headfirst off a gym box but styles it out by landing in a handstand

This gym user has turned a potentially embarrassing fall into a triumph. 

Personal trainer David Hanono was in the middle of a workout in New York City when he jumped onto a raised platform on one leg while holding an exercise ball. 

He was attempting what is known as a one-legged jump squat.

Video shows the shirtless Mr Hanono attempt the jump while already slightly off-balance.

As he reaches the platform he seems to be in good shape, before taking a jump to the right and tipping the platform off balance. 

He immediately begins to teeter and fall in the opposite direction, before he miraculously saves himself. 

Mr Hanono lets go of the ball and sticks both hands out to try and break his fall.

He receives a round of applause during this feat by a blonde woman who appears to be training him.
