Passenger holds up train after HAIR EXTENSIONS get trapped in door – The Sun

A TRAINLOAD of commuters had a bad hair day this morning when their service was delayed because one passenger got her EXTENSIONS trapped in a door.

The busy London Northwestern Railway Service between Tring and London Euston was held up during peak rush hour, just before 7.30am today.

It left passengers pulling their own hair out over the delay when it was announced over the tannoy.

One passenger tweeted: “I’m on an overcrowded train that can’t leave the station because some idiot has their hair caught in the door so we can’t set off!”

Another said: “My train left five minutes late because someone’s hair was stuck in the door so it wasn’t closing properly.”

The delay got in somebody else’s hair, who said: “Train delayed because a passenger has her hair caught in the door… that’s a new one! Happy Wednesday! #commuterlife.”

The train continued on its journey shortly afterwards.

A spokesperson for London Northwestern Railway said: "Our 6.34am service from Bletchley to London Euston was delayed for approximately two minutes at Harrow & Wealdstone station after vigilant train crew identified a female passenger's hair extension had caught in the carriage door.

"The safety of our passengers is our top priority at all times and train crew delayed the departure of the service while the door was quickly cleared and offered the passenger some friendly words of advice."
