Dayton shooting – 'At least seven dead' after 'ANOTHER gunman opens fire' in Ohio hours after El Paso Walmart massacre

AT least seven victims are reported dead after witnesses reported seeing another gunman open fire in Ohio hours after the El Paso Walmart massacre.

Cops in Dayton said they were investigating an "active shooter incident" and asked people to avoid the area.



The incident comes less than 24 hours after a mass shooting in a Texas Walmart just a few miles from the Mexican border.

The attack near the Cielo Vista Mall left 20 dead and dozens more injured. A 21-year-old man named by US media as Patrick Crusius is in custody.

In Ohio, police scanner traffic indicated that there may be as many as seven dead, Dayton Daily News reported.

However, at this early stage no injuries have officially been confirmed.

The Daily News also reported that police were searching for a second possible shooter that "may have left the area in a dark-coloured Jeep".

Footage from the scene shows a number of emergency vehicles outside a bar in the arts and entertainment district of Oregon.

Multiple reports on social media allege a shooting took place The Ned Peppers bar shortly after 1am on Sunday morning.

In footage taken at the scene, a witness is heard saying that two people were shot.

In another video, gunshots can be heard and people are seen running outside a bar.

A witness told BNO News: "We heard gunshots while on the patio .. Ran indoors only to be shoved back out because the shots were coming from inside the bar.

"We ran for our lives".

Cops are now appealing for anyone with information to come forward., please call 937-225-6217.

The Ned Peppers’ is described on its website as a “traditional western-ish themed bar" in the heart of the Oregon District of Dayton.
