Who is hosting the 2019 National Television Awards and which celebrities will be presenting awards?

Here's who is hosting the big night and when you can catch the prestigious ceremony.

Who is hosting the NTAs 2019?

Dermot O'Leary will be hosting the 2019 National Television Awards.

The awards ceremony was hosted by Eamonn Holmes in 1995, but Sir Trevor McDonald took over in 1996.

After 13 years of presenting the show, he passed on the baton to Dermot in 2010.

And he'll again be in charge for the 2019 ceremony.

Who will be presenting awards on the night?

NTA bosses are keeping tight lipped about who they have lined up for.

But it is likely to include some A-list stars of the small screen.

We do know that Love island winners Jack Fincham and Dani Dyer will be hosting all of the backstage and red carpet coverage.

When are the National Television Awards?

The National Television Awards (NTAs) 2019 will take place on January 22, 2019.

You can watch the awards show on ITV or buy tickets on sale at Ticketmaster.

The winners are decided on the general public's voting.

NTAs started off back in 1995 and is one of the biggest award nights in Britain.
