The Chase's oldest ever contestant Jean, 91, has viewers in hysterics as she angles for Bradley Walsh's job

Cheeky 91-year-old Jean pulled no punches when she stepped up to take on the Vixen, even claiming she could do a better job than host than Bradley Walsh.

After Brad told a joke, an unimpressed Jean urged him to "get on with the game."

In her bid to make it back to her team with £1,000 prize money, she added: "I could do your job at a pinch, you know that, don't you?"

Stunned, he replied: "Pardon?"

Insistent, she said again:  "You can be replaced."

When he asked by who, she pointed to herself, causing him to feign surprise.

Viewers were loving the banter between the pair, writing on Twitter: "Classic from 91 years young Jean ? after Bradley’s job. #TheChase.

"JEAN IS AN ABSOLUTE ICON MATE. WE STAN #THECHASE.

"Jean 91 says she wants botox, ?absolutely brilliant. #TheChase.

"Jean from #TheChase is giving me absolute life. If I ever get to 91 and a half I want to be like her.

"Fully loving Jean. If I’m like her at 41 I’m happy let alone 91. what a force #TheChase."

For all her endeavour Jean was caught by the Vixen.

She wasn't too despondent though, smiling at telling Brad how much she'd enjoyed her time on the show.

The feeling was mutual with both Brad and the Vixen returning the niceties.
