The Big Bang Theory season 12: Johnny Galecki reveals SHOW FIRST ahead of series finale

The Big Bang Theory viewers have enjoyed almost twelve years of episodes so far.

And although there have been countless episodes throughout the series, show firsts are still happening.

Leonard Hofstadter actor Johnny Galecki has recently been posting a number of throwbacks on his Instagram account as the show finally winds down.

And recently he posted an image of himself alongside the show’s writers, in the writers’ room.

He followed up with the caption: “The illustrious @bigbangtheory_cbs Writer’s Room, where (at least) 278 stories have been imagined and built by the incredible minds of…”

Johnny then went on to list all of the writers in the room standing beside him.

He followed up by saying: “(Note the empty white board behind us as there are no longer any future episodes to discuss. A first in 12 years.)”

While the show may not see any more firsts in the final episodes, fans were elated and sad by this one.

One saddened viewer wrote: “Our household will feel a bit empty on Thursday’s now.

“We sure have enjoyed these past 12 Seasons of TBBT. You have brought so much laughter into our family TV nights. Thank you all.”

While another upset viewer said: “Well, commented earlier but the reality is PLEASE WRITE ON THE WHITE BOARD AGAIN I CAN’T TAKE THIS.”

Meanwhile Amy Farrah Fowler star Mayim Bialik has been teasing a huge twist for the final episodes of the show.

The actor recently posted an image on Instagram which featured herself, Sheldon Cooper actor Jim Parsons holding a fake baby.

Fans instantly began speculating the pair would fall pregnant in the final season.

And while Sheldon famously doesn’t like change or affection, it could be a huge change for the theoretical physicist.

Viewers who saw Mayim’s post began asking for a sequel to The Big Bang Theory, featuring “Shamy”.

One wrote: “Hoping this is going to lead to Amy being pregnant. Wish there was a Shamy sequel with you and Jim.”

Another added: “Mayim, with just one post, you are driving us all crazyyyy!”

But will the fans see the birth of a baby before the show ends?

The Big Bang Theory airs Thursdays on CBS and in the UK on E4.
