Miller-Keyes was shockingly sent home after hometown dates by Underwood. The former football player revealed how he came to that decision.

“I don’t think that’s a fair question [to ask about sending Caelynn home over Cassie]. I think you can ask why Hannah, why Tayshia and why Cassie over Caelynn,” Underwood told Entertainment Tonight. “One thing that I wish I could have articulated more to Caelynn tonight: it was nothing [about] where our relationship was. It was where the others were.”

He admitted “that was the hardest rose ceremony that I had all season.” The rose ceremonies do get harder the closer you get to the end, but there is always the hope that the person getting sent home could become the bachelorette. So is Miller-Keyes up for the role?

Although the former contestant has a lot of fans, she still isn’t totally open to the idea of starring on the show. She revealed why she might give it a second thought.

“I think I would be hesitant, just because this process sucked for me,” Miller-Keyes told Us Weekly. “I mean, it was absolute hell for me.” The pageant queen did have a few bumps in the road.

She was on the show with former friend, Hannah Brown. Brown accused her of being fake to other contestants then Underwood. Eventually, they settled their drama, but Miller-Keyes was then accused of being on the show for the wrong reasons by Tayshia Adams.

Miller-Keyes said she was “shocked” by the accusation. “I was like, ‘What, me? These people are saying that I want to be bachelorette?’ Because that was the furthest thing from my mind because I was in love with Colton,” she said. “But also because, I mean, there were several days where I would go to producers and be like, ‘I’m leaving, I can’t deal with this.’ Because it was hard, it was emotional. It was so incredibly hard for me.”

She revealed what hurt her most about the situation. “It’s not fun, but I think what hurt the worst was Tayshia and I were friends from night one and she was helping me get ready for my one-on-one,” Miller-Keyes continued. “We were great friends and I was completely shocked. … There’s other girls that I could expect that from, but not Tayshia.”

Miller-Keyes didn’t say she would shoot down the chance just that she would hesitate. Fans will have to wait to see who will actually become the next star.
