Spice Girls fans gutted as tour tickets are now £1,089 – each

The group sold out 13 dates across the UK and Ireland for May and June – and the demand has led to some tickets being flogged for over £1,000 to those who missed out.

One 'Spice circle' ticket for their June 13 date at Wembley is listed on resale site Viagogo for £1,780.

There are other single tickets for the same date listed at £1,191, £1,088 and £979.

The hefty prices aren't just limited to London, as another ticket – for the band's gig at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium – is listed at £1,081.

And one ticket for the group's concert at Croke Park, Dublin is being advertised at £739.

One devastated fan wrote: "My heart is heavy because I'm far too broke to afford a Spice Girls ticket."

Another said: "TICKET RESALE SITES SHOULD BE BANNED!!!! #SpiceGirls2019 #spiceworld #SpiceGirlstickets #spicegirls"

Someone added: "It’s official! Tickets for @spicegirls is available only on resale websites for 10x more expensive."

Another gig-goer wrote: "Spice Girls tour tickets are so expensive! #SpiceGirls"

On Sunday, The Sun reported how the band turned down plans for a massive US tour.

Plans for a lucrative American tour were thrown into chaos after Geri Horner, Melanie C,Emma Bunton and Mel B turned down big-money offers from promoters.

They could have banked as much as £80million from a summer tour of top US stadiums but decided against the idea — as well as producing new music as a group.
