See the Emotional Moment Kim Kardashian Told Alice Johnson She Was Getting Out of Prison

“You don’t know?!” Kim shouts into the phone. “Oh, my gosh. Alice, you’re out.”

On Sunday’s "Keeping Up with the Kardashians," viewers will get to witness the moment Kim Kardashian told Alice Marie Johnson she had been commuted of her prison sentence.

Kim was in full glam at a photo shoot when her attorney, Shawn Holley, called, in a sneak peek released on Thursday of the emotional milestone. The two reveled in the good news, gushing, "We did it!" before Kim announced she couldn’t get too emotional.

"I’m at a shoot, so I can’t cry, but this is so crazy," she said to Shawn, who tearfully replied, "There’s no way this would’ve happened without you."

Moments later, Alice’s attorneys joined the conference call. Soon after, Kim heard Alice come on the line.

"Ms. Alice?" Kim said.

"This is Kim?!" Alice exclaimed. "Kim, how you doing, angel? My war angel."

"I cannot believe it," Kim said smiling. "We did it!"

"Huh?" Alice replied. "What happened?"

Turns out Alice wasn’t the only one who ended up receiving a surprise; Kim had no idea Alice hadn’t heard the news. Her face dropped instantly.

"You don’t know?!" she shouted. Shawn replied, "No, she doesn’t know! You’re telling her the news!"

"Oh, my gosh. Alice, you’re out," Kim said into the phone. Within seconds, Alice was shouting for joy. Sniffles and tears of joy were heard flowing.

As Kim’s eyes began to well up, she looked up and blinked heavily to keep herself from crying. "I can’t cry!" she whispered to herself and to the "KUWTK" camera person shooting her.

"I’m sorry, I thought you knew! Oh, my God," Kim said to Alice. "The news just broke. The president called me, and he told me that you are out. He signed the papers, it’s been released to the press, everything."

In June of this year, President Donald Trump granted clemency to the first-time, nonviolent drug offender after she had been sentenced to life in federal prison without the possibility of parole.

News of Alice’s release came just one week after Kim met with the president in the Oval Office to advocate for Alice. At the time, Kim’s visit and plea for prison reform was met with staunch criticism from Twitter trolls and some of Hollywood’s elite who thought the reality star had no way of making a change.

"Keeping Up with the Kardashians airs Sundays at 9 p.m. on E!
