Okay, So Who Were the Actual Murderers in Netflix's 'Murder Mystery'?

Netflix’s hilarious comedy Murder Mystery dropped today, and as you probably guessed, the plot revolves around… a murder mystery. Starring Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler (who play Audrey and Nick, respectively), the film’s ending has a lot of people talking, so we’re here to help break it down.

If you couldn’t tell based on the headline of this article alone, below we will be discussing the ending of Murder Mystery. Didn’t watch the movie? Hop on outta this post! Or else!

The most important question: Who actually committed the murder?

After Nick and Audrey were framed for the murder of Malcolm (played by Terence Stamp), they investigated the whole fiasco themselves to try to find out who did it, and they are able to get someone to crack. Turns out, the actress, Grace (played by Gemma Arterton), was the one to stab him.

The bigger plot twist, though, was that Grace is actually Malcolm’s own daughter!!! They had been estranged because he always wanted a son to inherit his fortune instead of a daughter. She was thought to have died at birth. So why did she wanna kill him? Well, because he was about to sign over all his money to his super-young fiancée, and Grace was not about to let that happen.

Did she do it alone?

Hell no. After she was arrested, Nick and Audrey, along with the detective, figure out that her partner in crime was professional race-car driver Juan Carlos Rivera (played by Luis Gerardo Méndez). There was, naturally, a car chase after this realization. He eventually got hit by a bus, which is yikes.

Okay, so now you know who actually committed the murder in the movie. Justice for Nick and Audrey, amirite?
