NCIS Los Angeles and JAG crossover air date, cast, trailer, plot: When is the crossover?
NCIS: Los Angeles is no stranger to a crossover, but for the first time two members from the cast of JAG, the original show that NCIS was a spin-off of, will meet the NCIS: LA crew. Lt Col Sarah ‘Mac’ MacKenzie (played by Catherine Bell) and Navy Captain Harmon Rabb Jr (James Elliott) will meet G Callen (Chris O’Donnell) and Sam Hanna (LL Cool J) in the NCIS: Los Angeles/JAG crossover, which has a release date in May. CBS has not released the trailer for the crossover, but they have released some plot details for the episode, which will air on Sky One in the UK.
When is the NCIS LA and JAG crossover out?
The release date for the NCIS: Los Angeles and JAG crossover is Sunday, May 12 on CBS.
The crossover will be NCIS: Los Angeles season 10, episode 23, titled The Guardian.
The JAG crossover will air in the UK on Sunday, June 9 on Sky One.
The two JAG cast members will then appear on multiple episodes of NCIS: LA.
WHO IS IN THE CAST OF NCIS LOS ANGELES?
Who is in the cast of the NCIS: LA and JAG crossover?
All of the usual NCIS: Los Angeles cast will star in the crossover.
This means that alongside Callen and Hanna, we will see Kensi Blye (Daniela Ruah), Marty Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) and Eric Beale (Barrett Foa) among others.
The NCIS: LA crew will meet Mac and Rabb, the former of whom is now the executive officer of aircraft carrier the USS Intrepid.
It has not yet been confirmed what new role Mac will have when the JAG cast meet the NCIS: LA crew.
NCIS: LA showrunner R Scott Gemmill has also teased that more JAG cast members will be back in future episodes, telling TVLine: “I never say never to anything.”

The official plot synopsis from CBS reads: “Callen and Sam work with Harmon Rabb, the former JAG who is now the XO captain on the USS Intrepid to stop ISIS sympathizers from attacking US aircraft carriers.”
Gemmill has said that the crossover will show: “A really cool [new] permutation” of JAG.
He added: “It’s more exciting than just going back with a case where they’re JAG officers still and we get pulled into it.”
The showrunner also teased: “Instead we took a whole different direction.”
HOW MANY EPISODES ARE IN NCIS LA?
Is there a trailer for the NCIS: LA and JAG crossover?
CBS has not released a trailer for The Guardian yet.
The network usually only released trailers for new episodes of NCIS: LA after the previous episode has aired.
As such, the trailer should be released on Sunday, May 5 on CBS.
