Lucifer Arrowverse crossover: Will Lucifer appear in Crisis on Infinite Earths?

Lucifer season five is currently filming in Vancouver, Canada and is expected to air in Spring 2020 on Netflix. Also filming in Vancouver is the latest Arrowverse crossover, Crisis on Infinite Earths. Tom Ellis plays Lucifer Morningstar in the Netflix series and he was apparently recently spotted on the Arrowverse set.

Will Lucifer Morningstar appear in Crisis on Infinite Earths?

Crisis on Infinite Earths is the upcoming sixth annual Arrowverse crossover event.

According to the Vancouver-filming spoiler account Canadagraphs, Tom Ellis is may be a guest star in Crisis on Infinite Earths.

He was spotted on set alongside David Ramsay who plays John Diggle in Arrow, Katherine McNamara who plays Arrow’s Mia Smoak and Matt Ryan who stars as John Constantine in Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow.

Ellis was apparently spotted wearing full Lucifer Morningstar attire.

However, both Arrowverse and Lucifer are currently filming in Vancouver, Canada, so Ellis may have just been visiting the set.

Tom Weling who starred in Lucifer as the villainous Cain, will reprise his Smallville role of Clark Kent in Crisis on Infinite Earth, so it is possibly Ellis was visiting an old co-star.

Canadagraph has reported news about CW’s Arrowverse in the past, so Lucifer fans are hoping that Ellis will appear.

What is Crisis on Infinite Earths?

Crisis on Infinite Earths is based on the comic book of the same name, published by DC Comics.

The series was written by Marv Wolfman and illustrated by George Pérez in the 1980s.

The Netflix series Lucifer is not part of the Arrow-verse but the character Lucifer Morningstar is part of the DC Comics family as he is a character in The Sandman.

The concept of hell, which Lucifer is technically the ruler of, was first introduced in Arrow season four, so it is not surprising the devil will soon be making an appearance.
