Love Island star Jack Fowler’s hunky model pal Ted Pullin in talks to enter the villa – a year after being on stand-by – The Sun

LOVE Island star Jack Fowler's model pal Ted Pullin is in talks to enter the villa this summer.

The Oxford hunk has been seen by bosses for the 2019 series after being a stand-by last year.

He's already a huge hit on social media, boasting over 23,000 followers Instagram thanks to his modelling.

Love Island viewers may have recently seen him on their feeds as the model for clothing brand Blakely.

A source said: "Ted would certainly be a popular – and recognisable – addition to the Love Island villa.

"He's already got a following on social media, no doubt after thousands googled 'hot Blakely model' after seeing one of his ads.

"He came close to landing a place on the show last time, but just missed out. This could be his year."

Ted appears to know Jack through their work with boohooMAN and they partied together at the end of last year.

The 6 ft 2 rugby-lover is signed to Nevs model agency, who also represent Eyal Booker and Charlie Frederick from last year's Love Island, as well as 2017 contestant Theo Campbell.

He used to be on the books of Storm Models, who discovered Kate Moss and Cara Delevingne.

A Love Island insider said Ted was in consideration, but might miss out on a place in the lineup.

They added that even if he doesn't make the lineup, he could still be brought as a bombshell addition part-way through the series.

Ted referred to himself as a "single pringle" on a podcast in January, saying: "I'm just focusing on work at the moment."

He revealed he has trouble finding love as he only gets weird DMs, and people on Tinder steal his modelling pictures.

He said: "The whole Tinder thing happens quite a lot. I get a lot of messages saying, 'you should take it as compliment' and I guess it is in a way.

"A, it's a disgusting thing for someone to do and B, it's disrespectful to me."

"I get very odd messages from some accounts. Occasionally some weird ones get through to me, whether it's from guys or girls. As a general rule I just don't respond and hope they'll stop."

The Sun revealed yesterday that Rochelle Humes' lookalike sister Soph Piper is also in talks for the show.
