Love Island recoupling: When is the next recoupling on Love Island 2019?
ITV2 series Love Island is going to be shaking things up again this week with another recoupling rocking the Islanders. Maura Higgins and Elma Pazar joined the show recently but were already making waves among the existing contestants with Tommy Fury finding his head turned by the Maura. Molly-Mae Hague was left shocked and upset by Maura’s advances on Tommy, who she is coupled up with. With a recoupling on the horizon, Tommy is going to have a tough choice ahead as he has to pick between Maura and Molly-Mae.
When is the next recoupling on Love Island?
ITV has released details of the next recoupling ahead of this evening’s (Sunday, June 16) episode.
The episode sees Elma receive a text message which reads: “Islanders. Tonight, there will be a recoupling in which the boys will choose which girl they want to couple up with. #nomoreshapes #girlproblems #standbyyourman.”
So, you can expect to see some fireworks tonight as Molly-Mae is left concerned about the imminent recoupling which could see her getting ousted from the villa.
HOW OLD IS MAURA HIGGINS ON LOVE ISLAND?
“Obviously, I’m feeling a bit apprehensive. I just want to get tonight over and done with. I just want to know what Tommy is going to do,” she confides in the Beach Hut.
Maura seems equally worried, saying: “I don’t know what that man [Tommy] is thinking. He’s very hard to read.”
Tommy, who admitted to feeling unsure, says in the Beach Hut: “It doesn’t get more fifty-fifty than this.
“It’s crazy because Maura and Molly-Mae are both beautiful girls but I’m sure my final decision will be the right one.”

But it won’t just be Tommy in a tricky spot, Anton Danyluk is also going to have to make a choice about which girl he wants to be with.
Anton will have to choose between Anna Vakili, who ended up single after Sherif Lanre quit, and Elma.
“I feel a loyalty to Anna but then on the other hand, with Elma it feels like there is something there,” Anton tells fellow Islander Joe Garratt.
WHAT ARE THE RULES ON LOVE ISLAND?
He added: “I want to do the right thing by Anna but if I do that I’m jeopardising myself here.”
The recoupling also seems to make Joe re-consider whether Lucie Donlan is the right girl for him after he starts to have his doubts. Could Lucie find herself getting booted out of the villa unexpectedly?
As the episode reaches a head, Curtis Pritchard will receive a text which reads: “Can all Islanders gather around the fire pit immediately. #decisiontime.”
IS THIS THE REASON WHY SHERIF LEFT LOVE ISLAND?
The boys will then have to decide who they want to be with as two girls are given the boot from the show.
Love Island is also likely to see more contestants coming into the show again to spice things up once more.
Last year there were 31 contestants who took part in the show, so we can expect lots of other singletons to be joining the competition,
