Loose Women feud? Carol McGiffin and Kaye Adams clash in FIERY debate: ‘So rude’

Loose Women cast members Carol McGiffin and Kaye Adams raised eyebrows as they clashed in a fiery debate on the ITV show today.

Things began as Carol McGiffin and Kaye Adams discussed politicians with fellow panellists Stacey Solomon and Brenda Edwards.

Carol, 59, was arguing that she didn’t care what politicians did in their private lives.

She said she was only bothered about whether they did their job properly or not.

“You’re plucking things out of the air”

However Kaye, 56, was playing devil’s advocate.

She replied: “But what about if they lied about their personal lives or treated their family badly?”

Carol shouted down her colleague, telling her: “You’re plucking things out of the air,” as Kaye retorted: “No I’m not.”

Sensing the tension, Stacey began to nervously chuckle.

Carol continued though, exclaiming: “Nobody said they would forgive them anything.

“If they’re dangerous or a criminal then obviously I wouldn’t vote for them.”

Kaye told her: “Let’s move on,’ as Carol replied: “Let’s.”

As there was an awkward silence, Kaye added: “To be fair, I started it.”

Viewers seemed to notice the tension, with many on Kaye’s side.

One exclaimed: “Carol needs to chill, so rude.”

While another added: “Calm down Carol!”

Carol previously blasted the show after she temporarily quit in 2013.

She took to Twitter to express her annoyance after Loose Women failed to credit her during its milestone 18th anniversary episode.

When asked by one if she was making an appearance on the anniversary edition, she told a fan: “Don’t be daft, I only did 13 years and over 1,000 shows, why would I even be asked?!”

Loose Women airs weekdays on ITV at 12:30pm.
