Line of Duty's DI Michelle Brandyce actress Laura Elphinstone stuns Game Of Thrones viewers as she appears in episode five

LINE Of Duty’s DI Michelle Brandyce shocked fans as she appeared in Game Of Thrones last night.

Actress Laura Elphinstone popped up in Westeros as an unnamed character who meets Ayra Stark (Maisie Williams).

But it looks like it was just a fleeting visit because she was last seen trapped in a blaze created by Daenerys Targaryen's last-remaining dragon, as the Mother of Dragons gave the orders to torch King's Landing while riding the beast.

Those watching at home last saw Laura getting her marching orders on Line Of Duty from DCS Patricia Carmichael, after she made a mistake while they were investigating Ted Hastings.

She was also at the receiving end of one of the best lines of the series when Kate Fleming  told her to  "stop making a t*t of yourself".

Taking to Twitter to discuss her appearance one person wrote: “Poor DI Brandyce, called a tit and burned to death all within a week… #GameOfThrones #LineOfDuty.”

Another wrote: “No spoilers ahead (for U.K. folks) but I did love the #LineOfDuty crossover in last night’s #GameOfThrones DI Brandyce is really pulling out all the stops to find H! #WhoIsH”

While someone else remarked: “Looks like DI Brandyce’s transfer request went through…AC3 to Westeros, ooft #GameofThrones #LineOfDuty #Brandyce.”

Talking about filming Game Of Thrones, Laura told the Sunderland Echo: "I loved filming Game of Thrones, and I've worked in some amazing theatres, but it's also been a real joy to do some work on screen – this is so big it's like a film set."
