Karamo Brown Just Said He and Antoni Porowski Had "Extreme Conflict" When First Filming Together

It might seem like the cast of Queer Eye has nothing but love for each other, but apparently it wasn’t always like that. Karamo Brown just told E! News that he and castmate Antoni Porowski basically hated each other at first.

“My castmate from Queer Eye, Antoni, people didn’t know that we had an extreme amount of conflict,” he said. “We did not talk to each other at all during season 1, even though we were shooting together.”

Apparently there was a mysterious “third party” person who made it hard for the two of them to get along on a deep level.

“Our personalities got along, but then a third party got involved and once that third party got involved, he and I couldn’t even talk to each other. We were too busy hearing rumors of what this third party was spreading about both of us,” Karamo said.

Umm, that is legit crazy! The fact that they were able to hide that on-camera is so impressive. Also, WHO is that pot-stirring third party person?!

On the first ever episode of Karamo’s podcast, they talked about the whole thing, saying their focus was always on the Queer Eye “heroes.”

“No matter what we were going through, our intention on camera was always to help out heroes,” Karamo said. “And I respected this so much about Antoni, and I believe he respected this about me because we would be going through something, but once it was about this other person we put out issues aside and said let’s help.”

“So it wasn’t that we were being fake on camera, we knew there was a greater purpose, and a greater mission, outside of the B.S. we had going on behind the cameras,” he said.

Ummm… where are the Best Actor Emmy nominations for these performances? Unreal.
