John Legend and Chrissy Teigen: Which Celebrity Is Worth More?
There’s no doubt that Chrissy Teigen and John Legend are one of Hollywood’s favorite power couples.
The couple was married on Sept. 14, 2013, but each was well on the way to the top of their professions before that.

Chrissy Teigen is a model and author. Her career started when she was discovered by a photographer while working in a Huntington Beach surf shop. She became an alternate model on the original Deal or No Deal in 2006 and began seeing work as a model in a variety of marketing campaigns while earning guest host gigs on E! and Extra.
Eventually, she made her way to the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue in 2010 and appeared on the 50th Anniversary cover of the 2014 issue along with two other models.
Teigen met her future husband on the 2007 set of Legend’s video for his song, Stereo. They dated for four years before he popped the question.
Although you’d never know it by her figure, Teigen is into food! She penned her first book, Cravings: Recipes for All of the Food You Want to Eat, which published just before the birth of her first child in 2016. It quickly found its way to the New York Times Best Sellers List. Her second book, Cravings: Hungry For More also known as Cravings 2, came following the birth of her second child in 2018.
According to Forbes, Teigen was the third highest paid model in 2017 behind Gisele Bundchen and Kendall Jenner. Her individual net worth is now estimated at $26 million.

Legend’s musical career started following his studying English at the University of Pennsylvania. Fan and the music industry’s attraction was to his songwriting at first, with his vocal abilities coming along after. In 2005, he received 15 musical award nominations and in 2006, he nailed his first Grammy awards, two o them, while he was in his late 20s.
Once they started, his hits kept on coming and he has netted 10 Grammy wins out of 29 nominations. He also has a Tony Award, an Oscar, and this year earned an Emmy placing him in the EGOT category while being the first African-American and the youngest person to have ever received at least one of each of the awards.
Current estimates place Legend’s net worth at $45 million.
What about the children?
Uh, let’s not worry too much about the life of the little Legends. With their parents worth totaling some $72 million, we think they’ll be OK. And, Luna and Miles have each already made commercials and appearances on television with their parents. We obviously don’t know yet, at the ages of nearly three years and 10 months what they are destined to do, but we can see modeling and music involved in each of their lives if that is where their individual interest lie.
Slowing down? Nah!
Chances are we’re not going to see either the 33-year-old Teigen or 40-year-old Legend slowing down anytime soon. Legend is now a The Voice coach to the tune of $13 mil per season. The couple appeared in a Pampers commercial with their son, Miles, and fellow Voice coach Adam Levine, which aired during the Super Bowl. Legend had previously appeared in a Pampers commercial with their daughter, Luna.
The couple had a 2018 Christmas special on NBC, A Legendary Christmas, where the kids made an appearance. And, Legend also toured during last year’s holiday season.
Together, Legend and Teigen own an 8,500 square-foot home in Beverly Hills and a 2,600 square-foot, $9 million penthouse in New York’s Nolita neighborhood.
Despite their busy home life, there’s no doubt we can continue to look forward to Legend hits, perhaps more acting, and maybe even producing and directing. Despite her love for food, Teigen managed to get her body back in shape after giving birth to each of their children and we can look forward to more modeling and maybe acting from her as well. Hopefully, we will also see a Cravings 3 book, or other writings coming from her.
