ITV GMB: ‘Really?’ Kate Garraway SPEECHLESS over Richard Arnold’s appearance remark

Kate Garraway appeared to be close to tears as her fellow Good Morning Britain presenter told her she had “fabulous” looks as he paid tribute to his colleague.

In the shot, Kate could be seen in a black leather-look midi dress as she posed for the cameras.

He told her: “I’ve been by your side for 20 years and you’re at the peak of your powers.

“I’d go as far as to say no woman will ever look better than you look.”

Richard went on to add: “I’m tearing up. You look amazing.”

Kate appeared to be taken aback by Richard’s comments, which he quickly picked up on.

“You’re expecting something aren’t you?” the 49-year-old said.

Kate replied: “I wondered where the sting was in the tail.”

But Richard issued her: “There’s no sting in the tail, you look absolutely fabulous.”

Richard Bacon, who is sitting in for Piers Morgan this week, commented: “That was a really sincere tribute.”

He then suggested they move on with the show: “We’ll close that conversation. Normal service is now resumed.”

Also on today’s show, there was an awkward technical glitch when entertainment reporter Ross King spoke about the new James Bond 25 film.

Ross joined the presenting team via a live link from Jamaica after he spoke to the cast and creators.

He went on to explain what’s in store for fans next year but when talk turned to Daniel Craig’s departure, a technical difficulty was experienced.

Ross began: “Although the interesting thing when I asked Barbara Broccoli about it, she said ‘I’m in complete denial’.

“So, she’s a very powerful lady as we all know. So, maybe don’t count out the fact he might come back for one more.”

It was then that the screen froze and Kate was forced to improvise as Richard yelled: “He’s frozen, oh he’s frozen!

“We don’t know what’s going to happen next in Ross’ bedroom,” he made reference to the interview taking place in his hotel room.

When the link was back up and running, a clip of Ross’ interview with Daniel was shown as he spoke about his departure from the show.

“Yes, it is my last one, apparently it is! I don’t know [what I will miss yet],” Daniel teased.

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays on ITV at 6am.
