I’m A Celebrity 2019: Freddie Flintoff to sign up after dropping big hint?

Viewers will see Freddie’s stint as Top Gear host kick off on Sunday when the new season begins with him and Paddy McGuinness at the helm.

But Freddie has also recently spoken out about whether he would return to reality television in the form of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!.

While Freddie has not appeared on the UK version of the popular ITV contest, he has already won the Australian version.

He appeared on Lorraine Kelly’s ITV show today where he spoke to the host about potentially appearing in the UK series.

“You won the Australian version of I’m A Celebrity, didn’t you?” she asked as Freddie confirmed that he did.

“But you haven’t done the British one?” Lorraine continued as he replied: “No.”

She went on to query: “Would you do that?”

“No,” Freddie began before adding: “Well, never say never. We’ll see how Top Gear goes on Sunday.”

“How did you find that experience?” Lorraine questioned.

“It was the easiest month of my life,” the sportsman shared as Lorraine continued: “Did you love it?”

“Yeah, we went in and it was the first year in Australia and I went into South Africa where it was filmed,” Freddie explained.

He went on to explain why he enjoyed the experience so much.

“I just sat there and did nowt for a month. Lost ten kilograms,” Freddie said.

He then added: “It was like a retreat.”

A Love Island star has also recently opened up about his desire to appear on the programme.

Eyal Booker appeared in last year’s instalment of the ITV2 reality show.

Speaking to Express.co.uk, he reflected on other contests he’d like to sign up to.

He divulged: “I really want to do SAS: Who Dares Wins. I would love to do that.

“I’d love to do the jungle as well.”

I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! is expected to return to ITV later this year.
