First glimpse at Ronan Keating's daughter Missy performing on The Voice

She is part of a duet, GGMK, with her pal Georgia Gaffney, who is also 17, and from County Dublin.

They performed in front of Will.i.Am, Jennifer Hudson, Sir Tom Jones and Olly Murs for the ITV show.

On the show, Missy says: “We’re best friends.

“My family has inspired us so much. I’ve grown up around music. My dad Ronan being in Boyzone.

“He was my age when he started. I just want to, you know, start my career now and get a move on.”

On performing in front of the coaches, she said: “I’m going to be terrified.”

Georgia says: “Just looking at the chairs going, ‘Turn, turn, turn’.”

Missy added: “Just praying they turn.”

The four coaches are seen dancing along to the girl’s singing.

Missy was joined at the audition by her mum Yvonne Connolly.

She told The Herald: "I went over with her. I was kind of nervous because so much goes on before the actual audition.

"Whatever Missy wants to do, I do. For years she was acting in the Gaiety Theatre doing lessons and I wouldn't let her audition. I didn't want the kids going into show business."

She has previously told how she didn't want to use the name of the Boyzone singer, 41, and wanted to make a name for herself.

She told The Irish Sun: “I want to get there on my own so I prefer not to ¬mention my family name when we’re doing gigs. I don’t want my dad to be the reason we get gigs.

“Having dad come in to see us play was great but it made me the most nervous I have ever been.

“I came off stage dying to know what he made of it. It turned out that he loved it…

“He wanted one of his kids to follow him into the music business and I’m glad it’s me and I have such a supportive dad.”
