Spurs make £10m transfer bid for Leeds' Man City target winger Jack Clarke

JACK CLARKE is the subject of heightened Premier League interest with Tottenham Hotspur joining Manchester City in the race for the Leeds United starlet.

The Championship club's Young Player of the Year for 2018/19 may not be sticking around for much longer as top-flight teams look for the stars of tomorrow.

At the tender age of 18, Clarke has enjoyed a strong season under Marcelo Bielsa, primarily as an impact sub.

The winger has impressed Spurs enough for the North London outfit to offer Leeds £10million for Clarke's services, according to Daily Mail.

Manchester City were linked with a move during his breakout season, in which he scored twice and assisted two goals despite 20 of his 25 outings coming off the bench.

Given his lack of experience, Clarke is reportedly seen by Tottenham as a long-term option who will be given the time to develop before promotion to Mauricio Pochettino's first-team.

It is even suggested that Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish, a long-term target for Spurs, may be dropped down the club's transfer wishlist if Clarke is secured.

The young pair are not the only wingers touted to head to North London – Gareth Bale's torrid time of late at Real Madrid driving speculation he could move back to the club.

Barcelona winger Malcom is likewise said to be available as the La Liga giants seek funds for Antoine Griezmann's transfer, yet Spurs are rivalled by Arsenal for the Brazilian's signing.
