Solskjaer has 'horrendous taste' in heavy metal music, but David De Gea loves it

Solskjaer has revived United fortunes winning all five of his games in charge since taking over from Jose Mourinho last month.

But the 45-year-old biggest test will be at Wembley this afternoon when they face Tottenham.

And Ferdinand, who spent five years with the Norwegian at Old Trafford hopes Ole is not in charge of the music in the away changing room before the game blasting out his heavy metal anthems.

Ferdinand exclusively told SunSport: “Ole couldn’t have done any more than he’s done so far.
“I just hope he hasn’t inflicted his horrendous taste in music on the players!

“When we played together he was really into heavy metal and would put on the most appalling stuff.

“Don’t ask me to name it, I couldn’t, all I do know is you wanted to stick your fingers very firmly in your ears.

But the current United manager has a least one ally in the United changing room in David De Gea.

The Spaniard is a huge fan of heavy metal rockers Slipknot and Metallica.

He told manutd.com: “I like metal and rock bands like Avenged Sevenfold and Metallica.

“When I put it on in the dressing room, everyone moans.
“Most of the other players are into hip-hop.”
