Kerry’s Peter Crowley suffers season-ending cruciate blow
Kerry have been dealt a fresh injury blow with the news that Peter Crowley will miss out on the summer campaign.
The Laune Rangers man suffered a cruciate ligament injury while in action for his club, and Radio Kerry report that a scan has revealed his season is over.
This comes as a blow to the Kingdom, as they build towards their Munster title defence in the coming weeks. The 2014 All-Star played a key role in the side’s run to the Allianz League final earlier this year, which included a late winning-point against Dublin in Tralee.
There is better news on the injury front as manager Peter Keane said he is confident that Gavin White will return for the opener against Waterford or Clare on June 1. The Dr Crokes man is recovering from an elbow injury.
