Frank Lampard takes over at Chelsea and immediately loses starlets Jamal Musiala and Bright Akwo Arrey-Mbi to Bayern Munich – The Sun

FRANK LAMPARD took over as Chelsea boss on Thursday and immediately lost TWO of the club’s starlets to Bayern Munich.

The German giants have confirmed that 16-year-old youngsters Jamal Musiala and Bright Akwo Arrey-Mbi had joined them from the Blues.

Musiala, will go straight into Miroslav Klose's U17 side while Arrey-Mbi will link up with Martin Demichelis and Danny Schwarz’s U19s.

Bayern’s youth manager Jochen Sauer said: “With Jamal and Bright, we've gained two hopeful talents for our junior teams.

“We are convinced of their qualities and their development potential and assume that they will quickly settle on campus."

Musiala is an England U16 international while Arrey-Mbi, who has represented Germany at the same age, returns to his homeland.

They have spent eight and five years respectively developing their skills in the Chelsea academy but will now continue their rise through the ranks in Munich.
