After Ronaldo-less Juventus' shock loss to Genoa only four undefeated teams are left in Europe

JUVENTUS' shock loss at the hands of Genoa on Sunday means there are only FOUR teams in Europe left undefeated in league football.

Late goals from Stefano Sturaro and Goran Pandev sunk Juve in the Serie A clash – with Cristiano Ronaldo rested for the clash.

The Italian giants were the last remaining "Big Five" team yet to taste defeat in 2018-19.

Now, only PAOK, Red Star Belgrade, Slovan Bratislava and Maccabi Tel Aviv have failed to taste defeat the shock result in Italy.

Greek side PAOK have won 22 and drawn three of their 25 games this term – as they sit seven points clear of Olympiakos chasing their first title in 34 years.

Red Star are hoping to land back-to-back titles after winning 24 of their 27 league outings this season.

Bratislava have won 19 and drawn four this term as they sit a whopping 14 points clear with the domestic crown almost in their hands.

GENOA'S RON RAGE

And then there's Maccabi Tel Aviv – under Jordi Cruyff's leadership – who've won 21 and drawn six this season, 15 points clear at the top of the league.

On Sunday, Genoa supporters demanded a refund after Juventus gave superstar Ronaldo the day off.

CR7 was rested after his sensational hat-trick against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League – with Genoa fans furious at missing the chance to catch a glimpse of the Portuguese star in the flesh.

Meanwhile, Ronaldo risks a Champions League ban after being charged by Uefa for his “cojones” goal celebration against Atleti.

The former Real Madrid star, 34, posed directly in front of the travelling Spanish fans after completing his sensational hat-trick.

Ronaldo’s offensive gesture appeared a direct answer to Simeone’s own extravagant reaction to Atletico’s second goal in the first leg.

And Uefa have now confirmed that Ronaldo has been charged with “improper conduct” for breaches two aspects of disciplinary rules.
