AFC Wimbledon stun West Ham as League One's rock-bottom side 58-places below win 4-2 FA Cup classic

Wally Downes side came into the game bottom of League One, 58-places adrift of West Ham in England's top flight.

Wimbledon took the lead on 34 minutes after Kwesi Appiah's strike made it 1-0, only for Scott Wagstaff to race in on goal and slot home for 2-0.

Westgaff then doubled his tally after he flicked home from a cross, as the League One side found themselves in dream land 3-0 up.

Former Gunners striker Lucas Perez fired home on 57 minutes to make it 3-1, as Manuel Pellegrini's men began their fightback.

Things worsened for Wimbledon as they conceded a free-kick just outside the box – which playmaker Felipe Anderson duly converted.

With it all to play, the game was decided with two minutes to spare, as Toby Sibbick latched on to a cross and made it 4-2.

As the final whistle went, Wimbledon boss Downes, who once worked as an assistant manager at West Ham, secured a spot in the fifth round for his League One side.
