Adil Rami ‘dreamed of ending career in LA’ with Pamela Anderson but hopes of MLS transfer are over after break-up – The Sun

MARSEILLE defender Adil Rami has had his dreams of finishing his career in the MLS dashed following his break-up with Pamela Anderson.

The 33-year-old was dumped by the Baywatch star after she accused him of cheating on her, while she also branded the World Cup winner as a "monster".

Rami – who featured in just 16 top-flight matches for the Ligue 1 side last season – reportedly harboured dreams of playing in America.

According to L'Equipe, the former Sevilla centre-back was keen on moving to Los Angeles, but his hopes are now over following the end of his relationship with the 52-year-old.

They claim that Anderson had made contact with the shareholder of an MLS side.

But Rami will get no support from his former flame now after she revealed that their two-year love affair was nothing more than a lie.

In an Instagram post, she said: "The last (more than 2 years) of my life have been a big lie.

“I was scammed…led to believe we were in a big love, I’m devastated to find out in the last few days, that he was living a double life.

“He used to joke about other players, who had girlfriends down the street in apartments close to their wives, he called those men monsters.

“But this is worse. He lied to all. How is it possible to control two women’s hearts and minds like this. I’m sure there were others. He is the monster."
